​Linley Gwennap ran Microprocessor Report (MPR), a popular publication in Silicon Valley from 90s to 2025. His long career spanned covering processors from covering the early days of RISC processors to the current AI chips. For many years, engineers at the top semiconductor companies entrusted MPR with learning about the computer architecture of different types of processors and how they compare with other options in the market. Linley recently also published a book titled "How AI Really Works: The Models, Chips, and Companies Powering a Revolution” that is now available on Amazon.
