OpenClaw Builders (AI Agents and Personal Assistants)
TLDR (at bottom)
This session is the first of (hopefully) many.
In case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard of Clawdbot (briefly Moltbot) and now OpenClaw — the future (and proverbial cat) has officially been let out of the bag.
Some say AGI is here. Well we’re fixing to find out.
If you’re interested in building with agents, this is the event for you.
In our first meetup, we’ll speed-run an OpenClaw setup on a VPS (we'll share some ez button low cost decent performance options, so we can focus the time on building skills vs. configs as there's a million tutorials of every flavor already on spinning up your own bot).
Bring your own laptop and follow along.
From there, we’ll throw out ideas and jump into real workflows. We’ll post skills in a central place from our computers and vote. The best ideas we build right there.
We encourage everyone to share skills amongst each other. No point in everyone repeating the same 10 integrations!
THANK YOU to The DOCK for graciously opening their space to us, please make sure to say hi to Gus on the way in.
If you’re building things and looking for a solid co-working spot, check them out.
See you there! Spots are first come first serve, we can probably sit 30-40 comfortably.
TLDR;
Things to bring:
Laptop (make sure it's charged, limited outlets)
Basic terminal comfort (or “beginner-friendly, but expect to copy/paste commands”)
A VPS account (DigitalOcean/Hetzner/etc.) or be ready to buy one, they cost ~$7, but quickly go up in cost if you want something spicy.
SSH client + Git
Telegram, WhatsApp or Discord account if you’re demoing that channel
LLM of choice API/subscription (suggest having a Claude plan)
Who this is for:
Builders/founders/devs/enthusiasts who want a hands-on agent setup and real world examples
