Oil Painting Class - Still Life
Calling all aspiring painters! Welcome to Artskool, a curated oil painting class hosted at the artists residence in the equestrian district of Burbank.

🎨 In this 3 hour oil painting class we'll be painting a still life. We'll go over the materials, how to build up the painting in layers, and color mixing. You'll also receive individual feedback and will be able to see a live demo of the process as well. I'll walk you through every step of the way!
👩🏽🎨 You'll learn the techniques of the Renaissance Masters as we create our very own masterpieces in the style of traditional realism. This is a great way to learn how to use oil paints and can serve as a jumping off point to develop your own unique style.
🖼️ By the end of our time together you'll have a beautiful painting to take home with you!
🖌️ No experience necessary, all supplies are provided (including aprons!)
Location
This is a private residence nestled in the equestrian neighborhood of Burbank. Plenty of street parking. Please enter through the brown gate which will be open 10 minutes before our start time.

About your instructor
Tanya has been working in film and advertising as an illustrator and storyboard artist for over 10 years. She studied oil painting at various studios in LA and Florence, Italy. Her goal is to share her love of painting with anyone who’s willing to try.

Cancellation Requirements
Cancel your registration no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event to be eligible for a refund.
All registrations are considered final and non-refundable within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled event start time.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed on the same business day the cancellation request is received. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method and may take seven to ten (7-10) business days to appear on the participant's account statement, depending on the policies of the financial institution.
Filming and Photos
By registering you agree to allow us to take photos and videos for use on our social media platform. If you wish to not be filmed please let us know.
Solvents
Alternative paint thinners are not allowed, please do not bring your own. We use gamsol which is the most odorless and non-toxic.
Model Etiquette
While working with our models please be aware photos of the model are not allowed. If you'd like to take a photo please ask them as they may charge a fee.
