About Event

A free, two-hour workshop for founders who want to build a stronger investor pitch and deliver it with confidence.

You know your business. You know the opportunity. But can you communicate it in a way that makes investors understand the potential, believe in you, and want to continue the conversation?

On October 30, join a group of founders for a focused working session to assess the pitch you have today, identify what's missing, and turn it into a sharper, more compelling investor presentation.

Anthony Rose, CEO of SeedLegals.com, tells you exactly what investors need to hear. David Goldberg, CEO of Prosody.center, shows you exactly how they need to hear it. Two hours, both experts, free.

What you'll work on

1. Build the right investor story
Structure your pitch around what investors need to understand: opportunity, differentiation, competition, financials, traction, scalability, and why now. Cut unnecessary information, close narrative gaps, and make the value easier to grasp.

2. Deliver it with confidence and credibility
A strong deck isn't enough. Learn to make a strong first impression, create buy-in, use pace and pauses to make key numbers land, stress the words that carry value, and steady your voice under pressure. Use your voice to communicate with the composure and authority investors expect.

3. Test and refine your pitch
Pitch in front of others and discover where the room leans in, where you lose them, and what needs to change. Use live feedback to tighten your messaging and delivery.

4. The live-feedback experience
Each hour includes 15 minutes of tips, first from Anthony Rose on creating compelling content, then from David Goldberg on delivering it with conviction, followed by 45 minutes of live, instructive feedback so founders can improve their pitches on the spot.

What you'll leave with

  • A sharper, more focused investor pitch

  • A clearer understanding of your strengths and gaps

  • Practical techniques for presenting with confidence

  • Real-world feedback on your messaging and delivery

  • Specific next steps for continuing to improve

  • Greater insight into what can move an investor from listening to wanting to know more

Who should attend

Founders and startup leaders at different stages of the fundraising journey. Whether you're preparing to pitch for the first time or you've pitched before and know it could be stronger, the goal is the same: leave with a better pitch than the one you walked in with.

Your facilitators

Anthony Rose, CEO, SeedLegals
Founder and CEO of SeedLegals, the legaltech platform that helps startups get investment-ready, run a funding round, and handle their legals, used by over 60,000 startups. Before SeedLegals, his career spanned 3D graphics, peer-to-peer music, internet video, and social TV, including heading up BBC iPlayer. Wired Magazine's 2009 cover story called him "The Man Who Saved the BBC."

David Goldberg, CEO, Prosody.center and Edge Studio
Founder of Prosody.center and EdgeStudio.com, an international voiceover recording center. He has directed, coached, and trained over 10,000 celebrities, politicians, CEOs, and founders on more than 13,000 spoken-word projects over 38 years. He identifies the blind spots that hold founders back when they pitch (pacing, phrasing, wording, emphasis, tone, body language, composure, nonverbal cues), then shows the precise adjustments that change how investors experience and respond to you.
