Reading, Modelling and Modulating the Brain
How do we record what the brain is doing? How do we turn those signals into meaning? And how do we use that to change what the brain does?
This panel brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers and industry founders working where neuroscience, engineering and medicine meet. We’ll follow a brain signal from start to finish:
Read: measuring the brain, with MRI, EEG and neural recording
Model: making sense of the signals, with AI and brain–computer interfaces
Modulate: changing brain activity, with stimulation, surgery or medicine
Limits & ethics: hype vs reality, neural data and enhancement
