Action Space Hackathon 2026

​Welcome to Action Space: Boston's first anti-drone swarm defense hackathon, an intensive, hands-on weekend dedicated to building with claude, computer and physical hardware.

​The theme for this hackathon? Counter Anti Drone Swarm Technology! 🚁🛡️

​Your team of four people will get lessons on isaaclab, how to optimize PPO policies and run multi-agent systems on the first day. On the second day each team will have a chance to run multiple drones with their policy. Your mission over the weekend:

• ​Have fun.

• ​Build something awesome! (Or break it in spectacular fashion)

• ​Protect a mock data center?

​Participation is limited due to our hardware capacity. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with final approvals released by 10/17.

​Note: This is an 18+ event. Teams should have at least one person familiar with software, hardware, and/or robotics to help keep things running smoothly. We will try to pair people with nvidia gpu's with other that do not. [if a sponsor wants to help us out with compute we'd love that haha]

​We’ll have >$1,000 in prizes, and all food is included.

​Our main goal is not just competition; it’s to bring together and grow the local robotics and physical AI community.
