Workshop 1: Create & Critique / Ages 9-11

​Led by artist Laura Loving (www.StudioLauraLoving.com), this workshop brings together young creatives in 3rd (as of Fall 2026) through 6th grade (as of Fall 2026) for a focused, art-filled two-hour adventure.

​Who: Young makers and art enthusiasts, ages 8–11
Where: Some Good Wine, 13 E 8th Street, btw 5th and University
What to expect: Art study, a short demonstration, guided activity time, a group critique, and a work in progress/finished to take home.

​*Class limited to 8 students.

• ​No previous skills are needed—just a love for art and a desire to have fun, learn new things and meet new friends!

​Workshop 1 - Create and Critique Lady Liberty

​Artist Laura Loving will lead the class through a critique of two works of art and discuss our assignment for the day. Next, each student will create their own work inspired by the two pieces we analyzed in the class intro. Finally, we will share our work with the class and participate in a critique of each Art Star’s work.
