Who is Michael Schuster?
Michael brings more than 15 years’ experience as an investor. After studying Computer Science and co-founding multiple SaaS companies building information and data retrieval products using natural language processing (NLP), he then co-founded Speedinvest, where he spent 12 years, a European Seed Stage venture fund and grew it to 1bn+ AUM and 100+ people, with a portfolio of more than 300 companies.
Over the span of his career, he was involved in pre-seed and seed financings in a variety of sectors and is now focusing on growth as European innovative companies mature, particularly in the field of healthcare, fintech, Artificial Intelligence and energy transition. Michael holds a MBA from the University of Vienna.
Currently, he is at Cathay Partners as a Venture Partner, and run his own business Boardroom, where he teaches founders and partners to run good board meetings.
