Kick-off Resilience Technology Sessions
Resilience Technology Sessions
Security, technological sovereignty, and economic resilience can no longer be taken for granted in Europe. We bring together startups, investors, policymakers, and leading figures from academia, business, and technology. Together, they discuss not only what Europe truly needs to stay capable of acting in an environment of growing uncertainty, but also how ideas turn into concrete solutions, partnerships, and next steps.
Session #1: State of ResTech: Between Ambition and Execution
The importance of resilience technology is now widely acknowledged. The spectrum ranges from national defence and the protection of critical infrastructure to civil protection and digital sovereignty, all the way to autonomous and multi-use systems.
Yet recognition still translates into consistent implementation far too rarely, and time is running short. So how can Germany and Europe remain capable of acting in an increasingly uncertain environment?
Against this backdrop, we discuss the State of ResTech. In this opening session, three actors from different areas of the resilience technology spectrum assess where innovation stands today: between record investment and a path from pilot to practice that remains far too long. We talk about the successes, the challenges, and the key lessons learned.
The session also marks the start of the collaboration between Marienpark Berlin and TUM Venture Labs. With it, the two partners connect the ecosystems of Berlin and Munich around resilience technology.
