Bring the energy of New Orleans to your lunch break with a live performance by BTU Arts, led by Executive Director Benwar Shepard. Known for their bold, NOLA-style brass sound—featuring trombone, tuba, and plenty of funk—this dynamic group has become a local favorite, even leading Sacramento’s Mardi Gras celebrations.
Bring your own lunch, grab a seat on the plaza, and settle in for an easygoing hour of local sounds and community connection. Each session features a different artist or style, creating a relaxed space to unwind, meet neighbors, and enjoy the energy of the square.
