​It’s our last home cafe event of the summer, and it’s a good one!

​We’re so excited to be partnering with the wildly talented Alvis of Về Lại. You all have been asking us to do an event with Về Lại, so your wish is our command. We’ve been brainstorming this menu for months now and it’s honestly insane how delicious everything is. You are not ready!

​2 years ago, we launched Morning Jay’s and it’s been a wild ride ever since. From multiple sold out events, features in the Chicago Sun Times and New York Times, to collaborating with some of the cities most talented people, it’s truly been an honor of a lifetime getting to serve each and every one of you.

​Unlike our brunch clubs, public pop ups, or menu drops you’ve seen us do, our cozy cafes are an intimate chef-table style experience, where you get to be the first to taste test potential future Morning Jay’s menu items, vibe with your peeps and future friends, and play pretend cafe with us in our beautiful, creative studio.

• ​Date: Saturday, August 15th

• ​Seatings: 10 AM & 1 PM

• ​Location: Our home studio in Oak Park (full address sent upon booking)

• ​Menu: 3 savory, 3 sweet, 2 signature beverages, and full espresso coffee bar. Per usual, everything is handmade from scratch. This is a try-everything experience! We prepare items on the smaller side so you have room to taste every single delicious bite.

• ​Spots are limited for each seating.

​​Tickets & Policies

​All ticket sales are final. Tickets are fully transferrable, so if you can't make it, feel free to pass yours along to a friend or someone on the waitlist.

​​​Accessibility

​Our apartment is a cozy third-story walk-up. So, please note there’s no elevator access, so it may not be ideal for guests with mobility needs. But hey! Central AC.

​Về Lại Chicago is a Vietnamese and Lao comfort food pop-up and catering concept created by Chef Alvis Huynh. The name means “return” in Vietnamese, serving as a culinary homecoming that features nostalgic, homestyle dishes inspired by the chef’s childhood.
