Founders Hub - by Bayes and ScotlandIS
Join us at The Bayes Centre for our regular weekly co-working Fridays designed specifically for founders building scalable technology businesses.
Whether you’re just getting started or already scaling up, this is a chance to work alongside others facing similar challenges and opportunities.
Who should attend?
Startup life can be lonely and this group aims to support, inspire and possibly challenge founders to be their best. We will host conversations, guest speakers and other events over the coming months.
This is a community of builders and startup leaders of many experience levels. It is for people that want to grow their business and do so alongside others. For people looking to be around like minded individuals - to help and offer help, building better together.
Schedule
We are setting up a regular schedule of events which will include guest speakers and office hours. Until they are announced the agenda is as follows:
9:30 - Arrival and networking
10:00 - Round table - asks, offers and ideas
11:00 - 13:00 ad-hoc discussions and co-working
Bring your laptop, your questions, and your ambition. We look forward to seeing you there!
Whilst we focus on the morning session the space will be available until 55pm to use for additional co-working, discussions or calls.
Location
We gather in the Bayes Lounge area. In 2026 Bayes are providing a new space where we can meet, discuss and work. When you enter the main concourse you will see our tables, and banner, on the left hand side. If you have been before you will see the new space if you walk towards where we used to meet.
When entering the Bayes Center (behind Informatics Forum) enter and walk in, ignoring the barriers and stairs on the left. Wall behind these to the “Bayes Lounge” area. We are in the process of arranging this space, so please do provide feedback.
Thanks
A massive thanks to the Bayes Centre, University of Edinburgh for hosting us, and to ScotlandIS for sponsoring the refreshments and encouraging our guest speakers.
And to the Scottish tech startup ecosystem for their inspiration over the years building such a great ecosystem.
