​Adaptation and resilience has been overlooked, with limited investment coverage from major organizations, despite being 20-25% of climate actions outlined in the EU Taxonomy or C40 cities. How do we encourage more founders and investors to focus on A&R? Investing in this space remains tricky -  key objections include: “it’s hard to measure”, “it feels like giving up”, “[x] should pay for it [not us]”, “there’s not enough startups”, as well as a lack of consensus frameworks such as those existing in mitigation. This Ripple seeks to discuss these topics to explore paths to accelerate Adaptation & Resilience innovation, aligning opportunities for startups and investors.
