Sydney Kids Book Club: James and the Giant Peach | Young Readers Group (Ages 8-10)

​This month, our Young Readers (ages 8–10) are diving into Roald Dahl’s much-loved classic, James and the Giant Peach.

​Having read the book ahead of the session, the children will be encouraged to engage in a discussion around the story and the characters through fun activities and games. There will be plenty of opportunities to share opinions, get creative, laugh and even make new friends — we’re all about making your young ones remember that reading can be a lot of fun.

​Our session will come to a close with a gentle mindfulness practice, offering the children’s big feelings a moment to slow down.

​A little note for parents 💛

​To help the children feel comfortable, engaged and free to participate, we ask that parents and carers drop their children off and allow them to enjoy the session independently.

​We’ll be there to guide and support them throughout the session, and we look forward to welcoming you back at pick-up time!
