Join NYC's builder community for a weekend of shipping, then walk into Swell, Ripple's flagship conference, where institutions, investors, and decision-makers are already gathered, with a story to tell.
Who it's for
Developers: no need to learn a new coding language. Build with the ones you already know, like JavaScript or Python.
Product, business, and finance profiles: you don't need to code. Great teams need people who shape the idea, design the user experience, build the business case, and pitch the demo.
AI-native builders welcome: use your favorite AI coding tools and agent frameworks to move faster.
Come solo and find a team on site, or bring your own.
4 Tracks
All projects must be built on the XRP Ledger, a fast, low-cost blockchain designed for payments and digital finance. New to it? Mentors will help you get started.
Agentic Finance: build the tools that let AI agents make payments and manage money on the XRP Ledger, autonomously, safely, and at machine speed.
Lending & Borrowing: build lending apps and savings vaults on brand-new financial infrastructure (XRP Ledger Lending Protocol and Single Asset Vaults), before it goes live.
Protocol Innovation: for C++ and systems engineers who want to work on core infrastructure, clients, and developer tooling. Paired with a 3-day Core Dev Bootcamp (Oct 20–22) as your on-ramp.
Why Not: the open lane. Bring the XRP Ledger project you can't stop thinking about.
Already building?
Bring an existing project, AI app, or startup and use the 36 hours to ship a new feature on XRP Ledger. Only what you build during the hackathon counts toward judging.
