Intro to AI in Health with APHRC

​In this webinar, Michael Ocholo, a senior Data Scientist at APHRC, will introduce core artificial intelligence concepts and explore practical applications of AI in health research to inform public health decision-making. The session will also highlight key considerations, including data quality, ethics, governance, privacy, and responsible AI deployment in health contexts. We will draw on APHRC’s extensive experience in the development, deployment, and adoption of diverse AI tools. The session will conclude with an open discussion, inviting participants to share their perspectives on how AI can be applied to address Africa’s health challenges.
