Digital Diaspora: Virtual NFT Workshop 2
Digital Diaspora Virtual NFT Workshop 2 with Anton
From Song to Smart Contracts
We are back for the next step of the Digital Diaspora journey.
After creating and recording an amazing original song during our March 4 event, we continued online with a wallet setup session so participants could get ready for the blockchain side of the experience.
Now it is time for Workshop 2 with Anton, where we break down NFTs and smart contracts in plain language and walk through how the Digital Diaspora NFT connects to the song, ownership, and legacy.
This session is beginner friendly and community rooted. If you are new to blockchain, you are still welcome.
What to expect
Anton will guide us through the NFT portion step by step, including what smart contracts do, what minting means, and how digital ownership works in real life for artists and communities.
We will also connect the lesson back to the song we created together and show how creativity and technology can work together without losing the heart of the work.

What a smart contract is in simple terms
What an NFT is and what it is not
How minting works
How the Digital Diaspora NFT connects to the song
