Dr Mohan Keshavamurthy is one of India's most distinguished urologists and renal transplant surgeons, with over three decades of surgical, academic and leadership excellence. Trained at KEM Hospital Mumbai, Tata Memorial Hospital, and Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Canada, he holds fellowships from the American Society of Transplantation and has completed robotic surgery training at the University of Lorraine, France. He is the pioneer behind TREAT, India's first total robotic kidney transplant programme, and was the first in India to introduce the Leonardo Diode Laser and IPG Thulium Laser in clinical practice.
His career encompasses over 3,600 kidney transplants, 18,000 reconstructive urological surgeries, and 5,000 laser prostate procedures. An invited speaker across more than 20 countries and a Professor of Urology, he has trained hundreds of surgeons now leading urology programmes across India and internationally. Through the Jivo Connect Clinic initiative, Dr Keshavamurthy and his team will collaborate with African physicians to provide structured specialist guidance on urological diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical decision-making.
