About Event
The Panama City Town Hall COP will bring together the Municipality of Panama City, national government institutions, academia, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to discuss pathways toward zero emissions and a more sustainable and resilient city.
The event will connect national and local climate action through presentations on Panama’s national greenhouse gas inventory and the Panama Canal’s pathway to net-zero emissions, followed by a multi-stakeholder panel highlighting practical sustainability initiatives, including electrification of public transportation, circular cities, reforestation, waste management and marine plastics.
