Brico Book Circle: The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Brico Book Circle
Brico Book Circle is a chance to slow down, connect, and dig into the ideas shaping how we lead, care, and build community. Each session brings together a small group of changemakers to explore one book through conversation, curiosity, and a bit of collective wisdom. No homework vibes and no pressure to finish every page. Just real people, real talk, and space to reflect on the kind of leaders and community builders we’re becoming.
We’ll gather every other month in 2026 to read work from voices who challenge, encourage, and stretch us: from courage and boundaries to emergence, reciprocity, and delight. Come for the ideas. Stay for the connection. Leave a little more grounded than you arrived.

August Featured Book: The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer
If you don't have the book yet, purchase here to support local bookstores and Brico.
Kimmerer’s writing blends Indigenous wisdom, ecology, and a gentler way of understanding reciprocity. The Serviceberry invites us to think about economies rooted in relationship rather than extraction, and to notice the ecosystems — human and otherwise — that sustain us.
Our conversation will sit at the intersection of care, community, and shared responsibility. Expect a grounding session that helps you rethink what we owe one another and what becomes possible when we live like we belong to each other.
