About Event

Join us at the brand new Lilly Gateway Labs in La Jolla to connect with innovation leaders featuring an engaging fireside chat with Brad Feld whose most recent book Give First: The Power of Mentorship, explores how mentorship and generosity strengthens entrepreneurial ecosystems and accelerates innovation. Brad is the co-founder of Techstars, a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, serial mentor, and author of many influential books on startups and innovation communities.

Brad will share some insights on the Give First philosophy which encourages individuals to give their time, resources, and expertise to others without expectation of immediate return. This creates positive feedback loops that impact not only individuals but also entire communities.

Following the fireside chat, enjoy a networking reception sponsored by our hosts Lilly Gateway Labs with leaders, founders, and innovators from across the life sciences and technology community. This will be a unique opportunity to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and continue the discussion.

A special thanks to event sponsor Stifel Bank for providing a copy of "Give First: The Power of Mentorship" for all attendees.
