Let's Talk About Kids and SmartPhones
Please join us for a packed panel event this January at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (BACA)
Tickets are free, but limited, so book yours now!
This is the first of these events to be held in this part of the city. Please come along and learn more about the Smartphone Free Childhood movement, what it is and how it is helping to change the way we view young people and their relationship with smartphones.
We will be joined, amongst others, by Drew Dower, Head of school at Benfield Primary, one of the first Primary schools in Brighton to become fully Smartphone free! He will discuss his motivation to make the change and share the steps he took to make it happen.
These events are always well attended and have proved pivotal in changing attitudes around smartphones and young people.
Please feel free to share the event and we hope to see you there!
Please note: Some of the talks included in this event will cover sensitive or potentially distressing topics. We encourage attendees to take care of their wellbeing and engage at their own comfort level. Therefore this event is suitable for ages 18+.
Smartphones are changing childhood - let's talk about what that really means.
Join us for a free, open and non judgemental panel discussion exploring the impact of smartphones on children and young people. Designed for parents, grandparents, carers and education providers. Our expert panel of speakers will help you understand the challenges and discuss positive ways forward. There will be a Q&A once the panel has spoken.
Doors open at 6pm for a prompt 6:30pm start.
Free parking at venue.
Refreshments will be available.
