Call for State Lead

​Open Source Connect India 2026 is inviting passionate community builders and student leaders to become State Leads and help expand the open source movement across their state. If you enjoy building communities, organizing initiatives, connecting people, and creating opportunities for developers, this is your chance to take a leadership role and make a meaningful impact.

​As a State Lead, you will:

​• Represent Open Source Connect India across your state and regional communities
• Promote workshops, hackathons, meetups, and open source initiatives across your state
• Build and strengthen a network of local developer and open source communities
• Collaborate with mentors, contributors, startups, companies, and community leaders
• Identify and support new community initiatives and opportunities for developers
• Coordinate state-level outreach and contribute to the growth of OSCI'26
