Workshop with Petter Made, Partner at EWOR & Co-Founder of SumUp (€8B Unicorn)
🔒 Exclusive event for START Warsaw members only.
Build fast. Pick the right problem.
One hour with Petter Made, Partner at EWOR and co-founder of SumUp, the European fintech unicorn, on how a small student team can go from zero to something real in weeks, and how to make sure it’s the right thing to build.
What we’ll cover
AI tooling has changed what a 3-5 person student team can ship. Things that used to need a funded startup now take a few people and a few weeks. But speed only helps if you’re building the right thing, and most teams don’t fail because they build too slowly. They fail because they build the wrong thing.
Petter will walk through how to do both: find a problem worth solving and ship fast on it. He will talk about:
how to spot a real problem, not just an interesting idea
how to validate it quickly without over-researching
what a small team can realistically ship with today’s AI tools
what the first 30 days should look like, week by week
where speed helps, and where it just creates mess
how to know when to commit and when to move on
what he would do differently in the early days of SumUp

About START Sprint
START Sprint is START Warsaw’s flagship program for new members. Teams take one idea from zero to a working prototype, validate it with real users, and pitch it to investors at Demo Day. The whole thing runs in 21 days. This workshop is built for that mindset: move faster than feels reasonable, and learn from real users.
Who can attend
This session is exclusively for START Warsaw members. You get direct access to a founder who built a European unicorn, and a chance to ask him your own questions. Spots are limited, so register early.
