• ​Targeted Coaching: Pitch Practice sessions are tailored to entrepreneurs who are preparing to pitch investors. Whether you're a first-time pitcher or a seasoned entrepreneur, our expert coaches will provide personalized guidance to help you perfect your pitch.

• ​Foundation Building: Even if you're not quite ready to pitch yet, these sessions are perfect for establishing a strong pitching foundation. Learn essential tips and techniques that will set you up for success when the time is right.

• ​Fundraising Opportunities: Seeking capital from accredited investors, Venture Capital firms, accelerator programs, or pitch competitions? Our Pitch Practice will equip you with the skills and confidence needed to ace those fundraising opportunities.

​Meet Your Perfect Pitch Coach: Clarence Bethea

​Clarence Bethea began his career in entrepreneurship when he founded Upsie, an online marketplace for purchasing transparent extended electronics warranties, putting more power into the hands of consumers rather than big-box stores. Throughout this journey, he raised over $30 million in venture capital and led the company through its acquisition in 2023. His passion for building products that empower customers evolved into a new role as executive in residence and early-stage startup investor at Silicon Valley venture capital firm, True Ventures who has over $4B under management.  

​Among his work in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and sharing learnings with founders in the True Portfolio, he started an event series called True Talks, an in-person event series exploring the ups, downs, twists, and turns of the startup founder journey with the goal of expanding our network to new regions and communities. Each event, held in cities across the U.S., features a fireside chat with esteemed entrepreneurs sharing honestly and openly about navigating challenges as they fundraise, grow companies, and scale teams.

​Meet Your Perfect Pitch Coach: Stephen Green

​Stephen Green is a “recovering” banker and VC based in Portland, OR who’s been in every seat of fundraising table; as an LP directing money to funds from as an institutional investor, on the founding team of a pre-seed fund that’s raised three different funds and raised more than $10M for two startups. His superpower is helping founders know the difference between when they “want” to raise equity versus when they “need” to. His “cryptonite” is his sneaker collection.
