Take Away:

  • In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we’ll be making cowrie shell necklaces and talking about the cultural and historical significance of cowrie shells. Traditionally used by many Indigenous and other global communities, cowrie shells have represented wealth, spirituality, and connection to nature.
