AWS Builder Center has launched an open global campaign where builders and community members can win a free full-conference ticket to AWS re:Invent 2026.
Most of us have an incredible story—a production disaster saved at 2 AM, a career breakthrough triggered by a community talk, or an architecture breakthrough built on AWS. The problem? We never get around to writing it down.
This Saturday morning, we're heading to the green trails of Lalbagh for a casual, open-air Story Jam. No slides. No stage. No formal presentations. Just builders, fresh air, and peer brainstorming.
💡 How It Works
The Walk & Talk: We circle up on the lawn, share our best AWS breakthrough moments, and help each other find the strongest narrative angle.
The 15-Minute Draft: You don't need to finish a novel on the spot. Jot down your core bullet points right on your phone notes app or a pocket notepad.
Peer Review: Get quick feedback from fellow AWS community leaders and builders on how to emphasize the authenticity, detail, and impact the AWS judges look for.
🎒 What to Bring
Your phone or a pocket notepad / pen (Leave your heavy laptops at home—we want this light and mobile).
Comfortable walking shoes.
A reusable water bottle (Lalbagh is a strictly plastic-free zone).

Time: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM (Tip: Entry into Lalbagh is free before 8:00 AM!)
Assembly Point: Near the Bandstand (exact live location will be shared on Friday 25th 2026).
Post-Meetup Tradition: Filter coffee on us.
⚠️ Important Note on the Prize
The contest prize covers the full AWS re:Invent 2026 conference ticket (a $2,099+ value). Travel, visa, and accommodation expenses are not included. Even if you don't travel this year, submitting your story gets your work featured across official AWS Developer channels, highlights our local user group globally, and gives your professional journey huge visibility!
