Betting on Games with Moritz Baier-Lentz
Moritz Baier-Lentz has been investing millions into games – and ETH Game Dev Club is wiring him into the halls of ETH Zürich live from California to explore the rather unique intersection of video games and venture capital, and another perspective on video games very different from the indie game dream.
We will cover how a gamer ends up in finance, what makes a multi-million dollar idea in gaming, and what new opportunities emerge through the developments in generative AI.
Moritz Baier-Lentz started out as a competitive gamer in his youth. He then moved on to work at Goldman Sachs, Bitkraft and then Lightspeed, where he established and headed the gaming practice. He is part of the founding team of General Intuition, and now works as an advisor for OpenAI, McKinsey and TPG Capital.
If you are curious in current technological trends in video games or a new perspective on entrepreneurship and games you didn't know existed, this talk is for you!
ℹ️ Room reservations at ETH are frozen until September 8. We will publish the exact location as soon as we get it confirmed.
