About Event

Join an intimate evening with Her Planet Earth, a Singapore-based non-profit empowering women to address climate change through expeditions to some of the world’s most vulnerable regions, supporting frontline communities and advancing gender and environmental action.

On Thursday, 5 February 2026, we gather to celebrate the Her Planet Earth South Africa expedition to the Drakensberg Mountains (November 2025) and to continue our support for The Black Mambas - the world’s first all-female anti-poaching ranger unit - via the conservation charity Helping Rhinos.

This special evening will include an exclusive Helping Rhinos Virtual Safari screening, alongside stories and reflections from our international expedition team (women from around the world) who took on a 100-kilometre trek through the rugged Drakensberg Mountains, navigating altitudes of 3,000–4,000 metres over six days.

While our original mission was to raise USD $50,000, we are proud to share that we have already raised USD $62,000 - and we are committed to continuing to raise more to support the Black Mambas and their vital work protecting endangered wildlife and preserving South Africa’s biodiversity.

Who are the Black Mambas?
Founded in 2013 in South Africa’s Balule Nature Reserve (part of the Greater Kruger National Park), the Black Mambas are the world’s first all-female anti-poaching unit. They patrol unarmed — relying on visibility, community connection, daily foot patrols, fence inspections, snare removal, and early detection of illegal activity. Their work is not only protecting wildlife; it is redefining leadership, shifting gender norms, and proving that conservation is as much about people as it is about animals.

About Helping Rhinos
Helping Rhinos is a leading conservation charity focused on protecting rhino populations and their ecosystems through community-driven, innovative solutions. Since 2012, they have been the largest supporter of the Black Mambas, helping provide essential resources and operational support. Their approach is built on three pillars: Protect the wildlife, Preserve the habitat, and Provide for people — including education through the Black Mambas’ Bush Babies Outreach Programme, which inspires the next generation of conservation stewards.

This event is hosted in partnership with Terra Goddesses Singapore — a local community affiliated with Her Planet Earth that brings women and allies together around nature, purpose, and impact — and with Arcc Spaces, a collection of tailor-made workspaces that convene a community of innovators and doers across Singapore. Arcc Spaces locations: One Marina Boulevard | Bank of Singapore Centre | 75 High Street

We would be honoured to have you with us as we share the stories of this expedition with a broader audience — and keep the momentum going to support the Black Mambas and women-led conservation.
