A day spent asking how we can build the future on the foundations of Gloucestershire's heritage of innovation.
Gloucestershire has a long history of innovation. Much of it was carried out in response to national need. Day one looks at what that history can teach us now, and will focus on:
Which of today's challenges is this county well placed to answer?
What can regional expertise contribute to national resilience and growth?
And what does it mean to build something significant while staying rooted in a place?
We begin the week at the Jet Age Museum. The setting is its own reminder that it has been done here before.
Guided tours will run alongside the day's programme, with dedicated slots offering the chance to explore the museum's remarkable collection and immerse yourself in the county's rich aviation heritage.

By Car
Jet Age Museum is located at Meteor Business Park, off Cheltenham Road East (the B4063), on the north side of Gloucestershire Airport. Look for the traffic lights between the large white Safran building and the Ontic building. Turn off the main road into Meteor Business Park at the lights and the Museum's blue gates will be on your right.
If using a Satnav, the postcode will not take you directly to Jet Age Museum, so please follow the directions above. If using the What3Words app, the square just in front of the main Jet Age Museum gates is shift.secretly.influence. You can also use the Waze app, which brings you direct to the museum.
By Bus
Take the 94 bus route from either Gloucester or Cheltenham, which runs along Cheltenham Road East (B4063) and passes the Meteor Business Park entrance in both directions. Both bus stops opposite the Safran building have a shelter and seating.
Buses run every 15 minutes on a Monday. The 'Dowty' bus stops are approximately 2 minutes walk from the museum.
