Join TULA DESIGNS for an afternoon of making and trading: build your own bead-linked bracelet made with high quality 18k gold-filled hardware and uniquely curated rare natural beads :: from gemstones, shells, bone and pearl to vintage and rare heritage beads made of bamboo, wood, and seed.

Additionally, bring your own seed packets to trade with fellow sowers and growers! No seeds to share? Come anyway!

$10 of every ticket sale will be donated to the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library! 🇵🇸

Natural stone beads hold mineral, metamorphic memory from beneath the Earth’s surface; shells housed something living in the sea; pearls took years of quiet accumulation to turn a wound into something luminous; bone outlasted the body it belonged to; wood, bamboo and seed beads were once rooted, growing things.

Every material carries a history, and we will create adornments that will give these elements a new form.

In that same spirit, every seed is a little archive: of harvests long gathered, of the hands that cultivated them, of the soil that will hold them next.

They ask us to be futurists in a world that can feel increasingly uncertain, increasingly disconnected from the ground beneath it.

Swapping seeds is a way of tending that cycle together :: rooting ourselves back into the earth, and into each other.

Your registration fee includes:

  • A bead bar with dozens of natural, rare, and uniquely curated elements to choose from

  • All hardware, tools and materials to create your piece

  • Food and refreshments (sponsored by local small businesses!!)

  • Tula cotton jewelry bag, cleaning cloth, & small earth gift

  • Your very own adornment to take home, including a lifetime warranty on your piece
