Builders NYC Hackathon: AI in Sports and Personal Health
Builders NYC is hosting an 8-hour curated hackathon focused on AI in sports, fitness, wellness, and personal health.
Builders, developers, designers, students, founders, athletes, coaches, and health/fitness enthusiasts are invited to apply and spend the day building AI-powered tools that improve how people train, recover, learn, compete, track progress, and take care of themselves.
Projects can explore areas like athlete performance, coaching tools, sports analytics, personal fitness, nutrition, recovery, mental wellness, accessibility, wearable data, and preventive health. Participants do not need to be athletes or healthcare experts to apply — the goal is to bring together people interested in building practical, creative, and human-centered technology.
This will be an application-based event with limited spots. Accepted participants will build throughout the day, form teams if needed, receive support from mentors/community members, and demo their projects at the end.
Whether you want to build a sports analytics dashboard, an AI workout coach, a recovery tracker, a nutrition assistant, a wellness tool, or something completely unexpected, this hackathon is for people who want to build and show what they made.
Potential tracks include:
Athlete Performance
Coaching & Sports Analysis
Personal Fitness & Habit Building
Nutrition & Recovery
Mental Wellness
Accessibility & Inclusive Health
Health Data & Wearables
Prizes and sponsor challenges to be announced.
This is a curated hackathon. Requesting a spot does not guarantee approval. Applicants may receive a follow-up form before final confirmation.
