Board Pathway Programme Introduction
An introduction to the Pathway Programme
If you’re exploring your first board role or actively applying and want to strengthen your approach, this session will give you a clear overview of how to navigate the NED landscape with confidence.
In this introductory session, we’ll walk you through the Pathway Programme, a structured six-month journey designed to support you at every stage of your board career. From defining your board focus and refining your positioning, to strengthening your CV, applications, and interview approach, the programme is built to help you progress with clarity and intent.
This session is designed to give you a clear view of the programme ahead of our second cohort starting on 21st May, so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.
You’ll hear how the programme combines on-demand learning, live expert-led sessions, practical workshops, and peer discussion, and how each stage builds towards developing a strong and credible board proposition.
We’ll also share what makes this different from a typical course. This is a highly practical, interactive experience where you actively develop your strategy, test your thinking with recruiters, practise real-world scenarios, and learn alongside a cohort of peers who are equally serious about their board ambitions.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear understanding of:
What the Pathway Programme covers and how it is structured
How it supports you in securing your first or next NED role
Who it is best suited for
How to get involved
There will also be time for Q&A, so you can explore whether the programme is the right fit for you.
