Apache Flink® Meetup: Real-Time Nights Madrid

Real-time data, real-world impact — join us for an evening of talks from engineers shipping stream processing at scale.

We're bringing together data and platform engineers in Madrid for a night of honest, technical conversations about Apache Flink® in production. Three speakers, three companies, three very different domains — all united by the challenge of building systems that process the world as it happens.

What's on

• The Pulse of the City: Real-Time Urban Management with Apache Flink Joaquín Salvachúa & Andres Munoz — Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
How do you manage a living, breathing city in real time? This talk explores how Apache Flink powers urban data infrastructure, turning streams of city-wide signals into actionable insights for smarter urban management.

• Beyond Request-Response: Building a Resilient Event-Driven Architecture for Automotive Manufacturing Ivanovich Olivier
Manufacturing can't afford downtime — or slow data. Learn how Gestamp moved beyond traditional request-response patterns to build an event-driven architecture that keeps pace with the factory floor.

• Accelerating and Protecting Shopper Payments with Apache Flink at Adyen Vitalii Zhebrakovskyi and Thomas van Putten — Adyen
Fraud detection, payment routing, bot attack prevention, payouts — at Adyen, ML models sit at the heart of every transaction. They share how Flink enables data scientists to deploy and continuously improve these models at the speed payments demand.

Who should come

Data engineers, platform engineers, and architects curious about stream processing, event-driven systems, or real-time ML in production. All levels welcome — the focus is on real implementations, not toy examples.

Drinks and networking before and after the talks. Spots are limited — grab yours now.
