​​​SPEAKERS:

​🎤Nola Masterson is the Founder and Managing Director of Science Futures, a firm she launched in 1983 to advise venture capital and Wall Street on biotechnology investments. She helped create and back leading biotech companies including IDEC Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Biogen), Sequenom (acquired by LabCorp), and Agena Biosciences (acquired by Mesa Labs).

​Nola opened the San Francisco office of TVM Capital in 2000, raising their fifth fund and investing in pharmaceuticals, tools, and diagnostics. Over her 22-year venture career, she has served on numerous public and private boards, including as Chair of Repros Therapeutics (acquired by Allergan).

​Today, she is a Venture Partner at Portfolia, where she leads investments in women’s healthcare funds. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in diagnostics at Bayer and Millipore..

🎤Zamir Shukho, is the Founder and General Partner of Vibranium.VC, with over 20 years of professional experience in venture capital and innovation. He has a background as a serial entrepreneur and is recognized as an expert in venture capital, management, and corporate innovation. Additionally, he serves as a mentor at top accelerators, including 500 Global, Techstars, and Alchemist. He is a contributor at Entrepreneur and a certified startup coach at Stanford University..​

She regularly defends businesses facing litigation in California and Federal courts. She handles a wide range of issues for her clients, including contractual, real estate, and tort disputes, as well as constitutional issues.
