About Event

This intimate fundraising dinner will bring together regional leaders, entrepreneurs, and supporters who share a vision for strengthening the Hudson Valley’s innovation ecosystem.

Upstate Venture Connect (UVC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting high-growth founders across Upstate New York to the resources, mentors, and investors they need to scale and thrive. Through our Community Advocate program, we’ve built trusted, on-the-ground networks in regions like Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and the Capital Region - helping founders find the right connections faster and building entrepreneurship community at the center.

Now, we’re expanding this model to the Hudson Valley and this dinner will help make that possible.

All funds raised will support launching a local Community Advocate, a part-time ecosystem builder who will:

  • Curate introductions between founders, mentors, and investors.

  • Organize small gatherings and founder-focused programs.

  • Build bridges between the Hudson Valley and the broader Upstate startup network.

Together, we can ensure the Hudson Valley’s entrepreneurs have the same access to opportunities and support that are transforming other Upstate regions.

This event is hosted at the Rhinebeck Village Farms Initiative

RVFI is dedicated to creating a healthier, more connected, and climate-resilient community through land stewardship, transformative arts education, and collaboration. Formed in 2024, RVFI aims to create a Community Land Trust to protect 21 acres located at the gateway to Rhinebeck Village. The land trust will become a sanctuary for accessible greenspace, trails, and wetlands, as well as a vibrant cultural hub that supports programming in early childhood education, family resources, regenerative farming, climate protection and ecology, and the performing arts.
