​Ever notice how your eye just knows where to look in a comic panel—even in a crowd scene? That's not by accident. It's often about contrast, where something dark is next to something light, doing the work of pointing your reader exactly where you want them.

​Join me for a 75-minute Zoom workshop where I'll share how I use contrast to improve my comics and coloring. I'll use plenty of examples from my work and other cartoonists. Then we'll spend 30 minutes drawing together (with me drawing live) and you'll make your own diary comic and try it out in real time. Optional sharing at the end, if you'd like to show what you made.
