​spend enough time in Warsaw and it's easy to believe you're living in one of Europe's most exciting cities.

​everything feels clean. modern. safe. there's a new restaurant opening every week. specialty coffee is everywhere. the metro works. the parks are full. life feels... easy.

​but are we seeing Warsaw as it is?

​or are we seeing it through the eyes of people who've chosen to be here?

​because outside of Poland, Warsaw rarely enters the conversation. people still talk about Berlin, Copenhagen, Barcelona or Lisbon. some couldn't tell you a single thing about Warsaw.

​so what are we missing?

​is Warsaw quietly becoming one of Europe's great cities? are we living in a bubble? do cities even need international approval to be considered "cool"? and who gets to decide that in the first place?

​this isn't about proving Warsaw is better or worse than anywhere else. it's about questioning the assumptions we've built about the place we call home.
