Panelists
Felix Oen: Felix is a Medical Innovator, Founder, Venture Partner, Mentor, and Biodesign alumnus. He founded TikaHealth, a personalized healthcare and bioinformatics platform developed during COVID-19 at MIT–HMS. His work advances precision medicine and early detection for cancer and liver diseases, with clinicians across multiple cities using TikaHealth to enhance patient care, health literacy, and data-informed decision-making.
Mark Chung: Mark Chuang is the Co-Founder and CEO of Verdigris. His passion for technology began in childhood and later led him to study engineering at Stanford, focusing on chip design. Today, he leads Verdigris from NASA Ames, bringing together top engineering talent to transform how buildings optimize energy and operate more sustainably for the future.
Andrew Chang: Andrew is the Co-founder and CEO of DeepSeq.AI, a company pioneering explainable GenAI for protein design. His team is developing breakthrough methods for protein library creation and large-scale functional screening, enabling faster, more predictable discovery in biotechnology and drug development. DeepSeq.AI’s platform brings clarity and transparency to the next generation of protein engineering.
Po Chen: Po Chen is the CEO and Founder of CancerFree Biotech, a precision medicine startup transforming how cancer therapies are personalized. He is the global winner of Meet the Drapers Season 5 and has been selected for top accelerator programs including Berkeley SkyDeck Cohort 12, MassChallenge 2023, and MedTech Innovator 2024 APAC.
Yao-Te Cheng: Yao-Te Cheng is the CTO of 3fates-Xray, leading the development of next-generation X-ray imaging systems using Differential Phase Contrast technology. His work advances single-shot, deep-learning–enhanced imaging with applications in security, agriculture, manufacturing, and medical diagnostics. Yao-Te drives the company’s SBIR-backed mission to bring MRI-like clarity to X-ray imaging at far lower cost.
