Miro Thunderheads is a full day collaborative innovation and startup challenge where participants will transform scattered thoughts into structured ideas, ideas into startup concepts, and concepts into something worth presenting. It is an experience built around creativity, collaboration, visual thinking, and the excitement of creating something together.
The day begins with an immersive Miro workshop, introducing participants to collaborative brainstorming, visual thinking, ideation, and practical problem solving. You will learn how to organise your thoughts, connect different perspectives, and use a collaborative canvas to turn an initial thought into a meaningful concept. After the workshop, the real challenge begins as participants come together in teams for the Startup Planning Challenge, where they will identify a problem, explore possible solutions, develop a startup concept, structure their thinking, and prepare for the final pitch.
The final hour is where everything comes together. Teams will present their concepts to a panel of evaluators, explaining the problem they identified, the solution they developed, and the thinking behind their idea. The strongest concept will take home the Miro Thunderheads Winner's Trophy, along with recognition for turning an idea into something worth building.

Participants must complete registration and check in by 09:30AM sharp
Late entry may not be permitted once the workshop begins.
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops because the workshop and challenge will involve active work on Miro boards.
Internet access will be available at the venue, but participants should ensure their devices are fully charged before arriving.
