About Event

Limen runs focused [co]working sessions with facilitation. Small group of great people work side by side.

Nobody talks during work blocks. In the breaks, everyone already knows what you're working on, so conversations get useful fast.

What you get

  1. Your task done. When everyone around work, mirror neurons trigger better focus for yourself. A full day has about 5 hours of focus time.

  2. Great people around. They have purpose, they have ambition, they have a kind heart.

  3. Warm intros. We help each other out – share your current challenge and get an into to a relevant person.

Who it's for

For people who want to get real work done and talk to good people in the breaks. Remote workers, hybrid workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, editors, photographers, architects. Mostly tech crowd, but if you have a remote task to get done — you are welcome!

Drinks

after day of focus work and talks in between we stay for a pint of Guinness

One strict rule

  • no talking during the focus time

Nice-to-have rules:

  • When arrive, share how you feel today and what thoughts occupy your mind today

  • Before a focus block: 1 line on what you'll focus on next 45 min

Yes, you can

  • walk away for a call and come back

  • skip lunch, to for a walk instead of focus block, you do you!

The group

Small on purpose. The ideal is six at one table, and we never go above ten.

Where

Want to find a unique, laptop-friendly place (pub?) during the day -- any recommendations? (DM | email)

In any case we have a default spot: Imperial College London - Open in Google Maps

Bring

A laptop, headphones, and one task you've been putting off.

Who runs it

I'm Paul. I open the room, keep the time, and work on my own company at the same table. I co-founded Random Coffee, a product for real connections inside communities, made it profitable and sold my stake. I've been designing formats like this since 2018.

Price

Your first session is free.
