About Chief Mapu Huni Kuin
Chief Mapu Huni Kuin is a respected leader, musician, and political representative of the Huni Kuin people of Acre, Brazil. As founder of the Huwã Karu Yuxibu Center, he is devoted to cultural preservation, reforestation, and spiritual education. Guided by the teachings of his grandfather, a master pajé (shaman), Chief Mapu travels the world sharing sacred songs and ceremonies that awaken remembrance of our unity with the Earth. His message is simple yet profound: “Love is the key.”
