In September, MUN's Centre for Social Enterprise, Community Sector Council of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Goparity Canada, an exciting BC based impact investing firm, are travelling across the province to connect with social purpose organizations and people interested in making a positive impact in their communities.
Join us for a workshop and/or a social hour to learn and build new relationships.
Workshop (Room FA224, Fine Arts Building)
Individuals will learn how to invest in and support their local communities, including hands-on guidance to start your journey as an impact investor.
Organizations will discover accessible funding opportunities designed for social purpose initiatives, plus targeted information sessions about financial resources and collaboration.
Social Hour (Arts and Science Atrium)
Connect over insightful conversations and community-building activities, with food and drinks provided to spark collaboration.
Bonus: All participants will receive a $100 credit to invest in one or more impact projects through the Goparity platform—no additional funds required.
