About Event
On Sunday, March 8 (International Women's Day and Women in Construction Week!), the legendary local non-profit Girls Garage will be in the house to share their work teaching design and construction to girls and gender expansive youth in the Bay Area, from their very own incredible workshop in Berkeley. Through classes in carpentry, welding, architecture, and activist art, they support and equip a community of fearless youth who are building the world they want to see.
We'll have bites from Good Luck Bakery (!) and Linger Longer (!!) as well as wine from Best Friends (!!!), and a very short program with Founder/Executive Director Emily Pilloton, along with Girls Garage alumni and women in the professional trades.
