Intro To The City Opening Reception

​Join us Friday July 3rd 5-9pm for Oakland Artist Derick Davies's debut solo exhibiton "Intro To The City" featuring a mix of paintings that represent his journey of artistry, self reflection and modern life navigation.

​In a time where self reflection is a needed heavy he choses to create work based off of lived experiences and felt emotions aswell as scenes seen through his eyes. This body of work is vibrant, emotional and representational of a young black man from West Oakland California.

​Opening night will feature art, music, limited editon prints for sale, merch, Photographers and snacks.

​The following weekend on Saturday July 11th will be the artist from 12-3PM. A chance to have an intimate conversation with the artist about his story, the work and his thought process.

​The show will be capped off at the closing reception Friday July 31st 5-9pm.
