CCSB's February Climate Cafe

​Climate Cafe South Brooklyn is hosting our February Climate Cafe Call on Sunday, February 25th at 12:00 PM EST via Google Meets.

​Following our January Climate Cafe, which brought together community members for meaningful conversation around climate change and its emotional and personal impacts, this February Climate Cafe Call continues the dialogue. Our goal remains the same: to create space for reflection, connection, and shared understanding in a supportive environment.

​A Climate Cafe Call is a safe, informal, and judgment-free gathering where people come together to talk openly about their thoughts, fears, hopes, and questions related to climate change. Rather than a lecture or debate, it is a facilitated conversation focused on listening and mutual support. No expertise is required, and there is no pressure to take action.

​This gathering will take place via Google Meets, as we’ve learned that Zoom’s free meetings are limited in time. Google Meets allows us to host a longer, uninterrupted conversation and ensures everyone has the space they need to participate fully.

​The February Climate Cafe Call is free and open to everyone, whether you are deeply involved in climate work or simply looking for a space to connect. Registration is available through the Climate Cafe NYC Luma calendar, and the Google Meets link will be shared with registered participants ahead of time. Donations are optional, but a suggested $5 contribution is appreciated to help support the continuation of this program.

​Whether you’re returning from January or joining for the first time, you are welcome. Come as you are—no experience necessary, just a willingness to listen, share, and connect.
