The AI-Native Business · Part 1: Think Different First
Description
This is for business owners, creators, builders who already use AI — ChatGPT, Claude, maybe a tool or two — and can tell they're barely scratching the surface.
You're getting value from it. But you've got the nagging sense there's a whole level you're not reaching: not asking AI the odd question, but actually running parts of your business on it. You're right. There is. And the gap between casual use and that is bigger than most people realise.
This is the first of six sessions, and it sets the foundation: the right map and the right mindset before you go deeper. No hype, no jargon, no beginner hand-holding — you're past that.
Not a tech talk. Not hype. No assumption you're technical.
It's the first of six sessions, and it sets the foundation: the right map and the right mindset before you build anything. We'll cut through the noise, look at what AI can actually do for a business right now, and figure out how to weave it through the whole thing — not just bolt a tool on at the edges and hope.
By the end, you'll have:
A new way of seeing it — AI as the way your business is designed, not just a tool you reach for
A map of what actually matters — which tools are worth your time, which are hype, and where each one earns its place
The honest version — real stories of what's worked and what hasn't, including how we used AI to drive a ~1,000% jump in search visibility and ~500% more website traffic across our Impactbrixton.com site
A head start — the questions to answer before you build, that save you months of wrong turns
A clear path — how the next five sessions take you from "I get it" to actually shipping
High-level, practical, and a bit of fun. Come with your business in mind and your questions ready. No technical background needed — come for the ideas, we will have a networking drinks after.
Who's running this?
I'm Gerald Vanderpuye. I run a handful of businesses — Impact Brixton, Brixton Culture / Brixton Alchemist, and a couple of SaaS products. For the last two years, I've spent more than half my time deep in AI — building with it daily and running workshops to help other businesses become AI-native. This isn't theory. It's what I've learned running real businesses on this tech.
