The experience continues with a festive, hands-on pumpkin painting workshop led by co-host artist Ali Hall. Ali will guide you step-by-step through creating your own seasonal masterpiece. All painting materials are provided—no experience necessary, just bring your creativity!

About the Artist:
Ali Hall is a Bay Area-based artist specializing in atmospheric landscape paintings with abstract realism. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she studied painting and graphic design. Her creative journey deepened during a personal recovery period, when painting became a source of healing and reflection. What began as a therapeutic outlet evolved into a dynamic practice that explores the intersection of memory, nature, and emotional restoration.
About the Ludor Wine maker:
Salvador De La Cruz began his journey in the wine industry at just nine years old, working alongside his father in the vineyards. Driven by curiosity for how grapes became wine, he transitioned into cellar work at 20, learning the hands-on craft of winemaking. He later expanded his experience in hospitality and sales to gain a full perspective of the winery world.
The first in his family to attend college, Salvador earned his degree in Enology and Viticulture from Cal Poly, an accomplishment that brought immense pride to his family. Since then, he has honed his skills at renowned wineries in Sonoma, Napa, New Zealand, and Australia. Today, his lifelong dream comes to life with Ludor Wines—a label that reflects his dedication, heritage, and passion for winemaking.
About the Deerfield Ranch Wine maker:
Robert Rex is a true Renaissance man — a winemaker, chef, designer, and craftsman whose passion for creativity and precision has shaped over five decades of California wine history. After starting as a home winemaker in his Berkeley garage, Robert and his wife PJ turned their shared hobby into a profession, founding Deerfield Ranch Winery in Sonoma Valley in 1982. His first wine, a 1972 Amador County Zinfandel, won “Best of Show” at the California State Fair, setting the tone for a lifelong pursuit of excellence rooted in both science and artistry.
A pioneer in Clean Wine® production, Robert developed innovative techniques that make wines lower in sulfites and histamines, inspiring a new generation of winemakers under his mentorship at Deerfield.
