Funding The Commons BA Residency Demo Day

​​We’re wrapping up three weeks of collaboration, learning, and experimentation with a day dedicated to sharing what’s emerged.

​​Funding the Commons helps builders turn ideas into working projects that support open, sustainable, and resilient public goods. This year’s residency focuses on RealFi, exploring privacy-preserving, impact-driven financial systems and infrastructure.

​​Demo Day is both a showcase and a celebration. Residents will present the projects, ideas, and prototypes developed during the residency, and you’re invited to step into this ecosystem, meet the builders, and experience how collective imagination becomes real-world impact.

11:30 am – 12:30 pm · First round of demos
12:30 pm – 2:00 pm · Lunch break (meals available for purchase at Senador Dupont)
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm · Second round of demos
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm · Party & celebration

​Getting there
The event takes place on the islands, so please plan to take the public boat departing from Terminal Fluvial de Tigre at 11:00 am. We recommend arriving at the latest by 10:30 am to have enough time to buy your ticket. You’ll need cash to pay the boat tax and a Sube card (available at kiosks nearby) to pay for the boat fare. Boats leave on schedule, so please don’t be late, this is part of the adventure!
