An AOF event with West Africa Blue on their (first and open source) Benefit Sharing Agreement

​West Africa Blue has been working with communities in southern Sierra Leone for several years to develop its Benefit Sharing Agreement (BSA). To advance learning and transparency—and to help others accelerate their own processes and reduce costs—Blue committed to publishing its model Agreement as an open-source resource, along with reviewer comments, responses, and supporting materials. To our knowledge, this is a first among private-sector developers!

​On April 20th at 4:00 pm GMT, AoF will host a conversation with the Blue team to discuss the Benefit Sharing Agreement and their journey, including the trade-offs and challenges they encountered along the way. Join us and learn from them!
